Social Ideas Platform (SIP) is a social innovation platform idea designed to streamline the journey from idea development to cooperative enterprise. By enabling people to solve problems that matter to them, collaborate to achieve and sustain market fit, and earn equity based on the value of their contributions, SIP aims to reimagine how innovation is shared and scaled. The platform envisions a future of everyday innovation — one where people work together to build solutions that are fairer, more transparent, and collectively owned.
Rebecca Dilipen and Tom FyfeRebecca Dilipen and Tom Fyfe co-founded SIP in 2023 after meeting during their MSc in Humanitarian Engineering at the University of Warwick. United by a shared passion for human-centred problem-solving and sustainability, they founded SIP to tackle the same barriers to business ownership faced by many aspiring innovators — barriers they are determined to overcome for the last time.
